BabyGigs CIC is based in Leicestershire. Designed specifically for babies, young children, their families and carers, BabyGigs delivers high quality live classical music events in relaxed surroundings. We provide classes, concerts and workshops in arts venues, church halls, community spaces, libraries, nurseries, Early Years settings and in primary schools for KS1. Children are free to sing, dance and respond as they listen, with interaction and enjoyment at the heart of what we do. All our musicians are leading performers with extensive educational experience and love to share their instrument and its music with the youngest of audiences. Writing their own stories and using a mixture of classical music and original compositions they create musical story shows, performing at events such as the Nottingham Chamber Music Festival, Leicester Festival of Stories and the Leicester Comedy Festival. Since 2020 they have been commissioned for several community projects with Culture Leicestershire, to help vulnerable families re-engage with their local heritage; in the summer of 2021 they were Artist in Residence in Leicestershire libraries.
