Nick Darlow

Vice President

Nick is an Independent Vehicle Consultant making automotive management and procurement easier for local businesses and the public alike!

In brief he helps businesses with all aspects of their fleet management, from starting it from zero to building and managing substantial and large fleets up to 100 vehicles.

Gareth Thomas

President

Dr. Gareth Thomas is Managing Director of Skills and Employment Support Limited, established in 2014. The business specialises in helping clients to understand and implement effective skills and employment strategies, through a clear and highly developed understanding of the commercial training market and Government policy. We support businesses to grow, maximise their return on investment, and are currently supporting a wide range of partners to achieve their goals and ambitions.
Gareth is also an Associate Director and former Chair of several independent training providers, including Peritus Learning and Development Limited, a Leicester based training company with a market leading online training offer.

In his spare time Gareth enjoys wildlife photography and travelling.

Sharon Kennedy

Marketing & Social Media

Sharon is a Fellow of CIM and Chartered marketer. She runs an employee engagement business Engage & Prosper based in Market Harborough, helping organisations to attract, engage and retain talented employees through coaching, communications and consultancy. She currently supports the Chamber of Commerce with their social media communications and marketing including promoting the Chambers members. Engage & Prosper are also a Patron member of the Chamber.

Sharon is a keen networker, and member of several other local networking organisations, She volunteers for a number of charities including Caudwell Youth, The ABF, Bridge of Hope Careers and is also a STEM ambassador. Sharon can help you with building resilient, high performance, inclusive and collaborative workplaces.

Martin Robson

Technical & Business

Martin runs Roman Britons Web Services. Besides website design and build he offers services around getting your website seen amongst the billions of others and keeping it running well and secure. He holds a certificate in Digital Marketing and helps you to convert visitors into paying customers with various techniques to give you the edge over your competitors. He is currently simplifying and automating the Chamber’s I.T. systems in order to provide better value to members.

Martin’s background includes business analysis (converting tech mumbo jumbo into plain English and vice versa), managing global IT projects and teaching English abroad.

Martin enjoys exploring, especially by foot or by bike, the HFM quiz and live music.

Jim Walsh

Treasurer

Jim is a self-employed Chartered Management Accountant and offers Management Accountancy support to small and medium sized enterprises in a style and format to suit their needs.

Jim believes passionately that good quality management information is a key ingredient to enable organisations to prosper, grow and achieve their true potential. He can also work alongside the management teams, providing up to date information when it matters, for those key decisions.

Jim’s background is working for many years in the corporate sector in a variety of industries including engineering and textiles.

In his spare time Jim enjoys, football, golf, music and spending time with his grandchildren.

Adrian Croft

Adrian is passionate about helping people navigate the cost of living squeeze helping them to spend less or earn more. With 12+ years as an Authorised UW Partner and a background in teaching & food manufacturing, he shares a simple system showing people how they can consolidate their bills to reduce their outgoings, and add a passive income stream without it affecting their existing job(s) or business(es).
