Freedom Support are well known for their exciting and creative sessions at the Training Academy. Their success is in part due to the fantastic relationships with their local and county wide partners. Please see the Partners Page for full details. Also, the solid relationships that they have with all of their students families means that projects, sessions and events are well supported and well received. They are available to help give advice and information which helps family carers to feel confident and well informed. The recent development of the Freedom Family Carers Support Group ensures that this will remain so.
Freedom Support Solutions became a Limited Company in 2011 set up by Tony Byers-Brown and Marie Norman Bingham as a day service. They initially started in the Settling Rooms in the centre of Market Harborough as a small group then worked up to meeting at Market Harborough Football Club. In 2014 the service became so popular they then decided to move to bigger premises which is where the Training Academy is now based. Freedom Support Solutions also have 4 supported living homes in Market Harborough in which they have up to 4 clients in each home. Freedom Support Solutions pride themselves on having high class quality homes. Each bedroom for example has an en-suite and the decoration is fresh and modern, chosen by each tenant. Our supported Living homes are in high demand.
Freedom Support are extremely proud of their local area and encourage people to be involved in the Harborough Community. ‘Supporting people with learning disabilities in the heart of their community’ is the Freedom Support Solutions moto. From day one they have focused on providing the best support that they can. Freedom Support Solutions are truly person centred and family centred in all the services that they provide.
Freedom Support Solutions employ over 25 members of staff and they work in the 4 supported living homes, the Training Academy and the management team.
